As a Louisville-based writer of 20+ years, her work has appeared in various publications, including Bourbon+ Magazine, The Bourbon Review, Alcohol Professor, and Food & Dining Magazine. In 2020, Havens was one of 10 finalists in Bardstown Bourbon Co.'s World’s Top Whiskey Taster competition, beating out more than 400 contenders to represent Kentucky. She serves as CaskX's Director of Whiskey.
