I think I first discovered CaskX in an advertisement in a magazine.
I was on a business trip, and I called in to ask some questions and it started off from there.
I started speaking with John Reed approximately two years ago, and asked a bunch of questions, and he was real informative and had good answers.
So I got involved originally buying some Kentucky Artisan in bourbon.
We’ve been offered a trip to tour Kentucky Artisan, and to do that.
This is the first thing here with the Bourbon Festival, and the great dinner event last night.
But prior to that, I hadn’t done any events, but I had purchased three different lots of bourbon.
I’ve been investing approximately two years now.
Well, I did a lot of research.
I’ve dealt with another wine company, and they do whiskey now also, but all of my research led me back to CaskX for whiskey investment.
It seemed to have the greatest handle on what was going on, and the best opportunity for me.
I work in the securities industry.
I’ve been investing, doing my own stuff personally, for almost 40 years now.
I’m very old, if you can tell.
But I’m such a bourbon enthusiast when I saw the opportunity.
I thought I would diversify some and invest in bourbon because it’s something that I love.
I still think there’s a lot of growth opportunity, and I just love the industry, and it’s kind of my basement is filled with bourbon bottles.
And now I have some rick houses filled with bourbon casts.
So it’s just a good match, and I hope it’ll work out, and I think it will.
I’m optimistic about it.
