Kentucky Artisan Distillery, located in Crestwood just outside Louisville, is dedicated to crafting bourbon the traditional way. When they opened in 2013, Kentucky Artisan became Kentucky’s first contract distilling operation and now home to a lineup of renowned bourbon brands. This distillery has quickly risen to produce from 300 barrels a year in 2014 to nearly 3,000 barrels annually using five copper pot stills.
