Originally established in 1887 by Col. Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr., Castle & Key Distillery grounds is known for their European style building like their role in bourbon history. Fully restored in 2014, Castle & Key was listed on the National Register of Historic places representing a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. They source local grown grains and utilize Vendome Copper and Brass Works stills which is often referred as the gold standard in distillation equipment. Their signature Small batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Restoration Rye is a representation of the care, patience and innovation that defines this distillery.
