My name is Todd.
I live in Wassau, Wisconsin.
Before I was an investor, I wanted to make sure I saw the plan.
So I came down, I had the opportunity to tour, about a year ago.
It was awesome.
It was a working plant.
It was not a place for customers, vendors to come in.
It was a place for investors.
It was a working farm.
And that’s what they told me when they came down, and I got to see the plant operations really under day to day operations.
So when I got the opportunity to come down here today, it was amazing to come down with fellow investors, people I know, people from Wisconsin, people from all over the country, to be able to see what they’ve done in the last year has been amazing.
The rick houses they built up, the way they’ve produced, um, everything has just, it’s been amazing.
As a bourbon fan, as a bourbon drinker, and you sit at home, and you drink your bourbon, and you wonder where it comes from, when you know the people who are producing it, and you watch what they do, and then you come down here, and you get the opportunity to see how they go through the process, and they’re thinking, you have a connection to the bourbon, that’s very different than just going to the store, and buying a bottle, and taking, you know, and while it’s good, It’s different.
When you can taste your own bourbon and say, Wow, I got 24 barrels of this stuff sitting out there, and in three, four years, I get to cash this in, it’s an amazing difference.
My experience has been, I’m a very skeptical guy.
If I’m gonna invest that much money into it.
I did a ton of research.
My broker, Christian was amazing.
He was very open with me.
He was very transparent.
He gave me as much information as he could, but yet it was on me to do my research.
And after I looked through it, it was very easy.
Once I got on site, and you can taste and feel and touch it, it makes it a ton difference.
And CaskX was amazing.
They were never the car salesman to try to push you.
It was, Here’s the opportunity.
Do you want to invest?
And it was a very collaborative process to get involved in the purchase.
Got to go through the rick house, got to see where they’re putting their stuff, and how they differentiate themselves from others.
The rick houses are amazing.
What they’re doing in there is fabulous, right?
It’s state of the art.
Walking through, looking at the various stills they’ve got, how they’re running through it.
Since I was here a year ago, they’ve increased, you know, I don’t know how many more tanks they put in.
They’ve increased a lot.
Their operations is much better.
Terry, Craig, everybody has been very transparent.
When you got the owner of the CEO coming and talking to you and all their partners, showing you, you know, what’s going on with their operation.
It’s an amazing experience.
You don’t get that.
I can’t imagine going to a place like Budweiser and having that level of interaction with the owners and producers of their product.
